To The National Issues Forum,

“There are genuinely sufficient resources in the world to ensure that no one, nowhere, at no time, should go hungry.” –Ed Anser

American’s like to turn a blind eye to what is really happening in this world. There are millions of people going to bed hungry and not knowing where their next meal is going to be from. America has some of the biggest people in the world living here, we need to stop shoving food in our faces and help other people that go hungry every day. “Every year 15 million children die of hunger.” (Think quest World Hunger) This is a number that needs to go down. There is no reason for this to be happening. There are so many people on this Earth that could help but just don’t. We need people that are willing to help stop this. I understand that not everyone has a lot of money to be giving out but if once or twice a year they would just send $20.00 or so to a hunger relief organization it would help out a lot. I think that a lot of people don’t help because they don’t know how to help. We need to help inform the citizens of American how to help. Some people are afraid to help out, and it does not have to be scary you can get friend and family together to help out and it makes it easier for everyone and when you are done volunteering you can feel like you have made a difference and if you have kids that come with you to help they get to learn about helping relief world hunger and they can continue to help out and volunteer as they grow up.
