Is this a joke? "should there be guns?" Like some 12 year old on the internet saying "gunz are bad" is going to stop guns from exsisting. |

Reply with quote | #5 | guns should be kept because they are a good source of defense in the home and if parents have common sense there wont be a problem with children, also, if guns are to be banned, only the civil people are going to give up their guns and the criminals will refuse leaving armed criminals with helpless citizens which is a very bad situation

I think we have to be a bit more specific here. Guns for what? For who? What kind of guns? Good and bad are also very relative terms. |

Reply with quote | #7 | This question is synonymous to " conflict management: should there be war or peace?". The phrase "should there be gun or not" is not "control", it is eradication. There will always be guns in the hands of armed forces - police, airforce. army etc.
There are many cases that nullify the "relativity" theory of good or bad. Is child abuse or drug abuse good or bad? Is using human being for sacrifice or for money making ritual good or bad? These are some of the examples that nullify that theory of "good and bad are relative terms". |
