I dont think teens do drugs because they want to fit in. I think its more of a way to escape from things they can't control. Alot of the time it start when they are feeling lonely and like nothing is going their way. Drugs make you feel as if you have a meaning in life because now you have found something that you can count on. You can count of drugs to get you high, you v=can count on drugs to be there when you need it. They know that somewhere along the way drugs will either get them in trouble, hurt them physically, or even make them feel worse emotionally, but it still gives them the sensation they think is missing in their life. |

Beautiful people,teens do drugs just to fit in.Some do them coz they see other teens doing them.Some to be able to express their feelings with no shame like confroting ur mums about the dad U never met and stuff like that.But hey I dont do drugs!They are bad |

Drugs are a waste of money and health. To feel good, you don`t need drugs, you need a occupation, friends even pets. You can find happiness in everything. In drugs you think that you are felling great and you friends think you`re cool, but it`s not like this. Drugs are made for killing, breaking homes, family`s and doing a lot of harm.

I think teens do drugs just to take all the pain away and to act cool but drugs arnt cool and i will neverdo drugs because i dont want to mess my life up !!!!!!!!!!!!  |

as a person who does drugs i can say that teens do drugs because they want to cuz honustly i didnt do drugs freshman year of high school but im now a jr and ive smoked weed, drank alcohol, stiffed perks, sniffed coke. and i have come to the conclusion that i do it because i want to not that i was forced too!  |

im a teen, i do drugs.
im smart enough not to think its cool to do drugs..
i do them cuz i like to try different things.. on weekends i hate staying sober.. and im tired of getting drunk, so i try different drugs.. its also got a lot to do with peer pressure all my friends are into them and so theyre easy to get a hold of.. but ive taken my fare share and started to get over it.. its a waste of money and health.

I think that you are all wrong, saying that teens do drugs because of peer pressure and such, is like saying that god made men have nipples because he was bored. No one knows why.

most ppl think teens do drugs because theyr "trying to get away from problems" or "peer pressure" or any other stupid stuff like that. there are a few kids who do it for those reason but really no one thinks its cool or feels like they have to. we do it because theres not much else to do and its just a funny and exciting way to spend time. I know its bad for you and its not cool and all that stuff, but its still fun, theres no deep reason for doing it other then that, and the whole peer pressure thing is just a good excuse to get out of being blamed for your problem. i do drugs once in a while, same as i eat crappy food once in a while, both are bad for you but ppl do um anyway, its not the end of the world im a functioning member of society my grade average is a 90 and im not depressed, everyones just gotta chill out over this teen drug issue its getting kinda ridiculous. |

you're right! u r right! but to be honest there is no specific responce to the question "Why do people do drugs?" There are many different reasons. So when we see someone who does we must not look down on them thinking that they just gave in to peer pressure or just following the crowd because they want to fit in...and even if u do happen to come across one who does drugs for those particular reasons, so what, you can still let them know it's never too late to go back!!!! |
