I think more and more teens do drugs because more and more adults are becoming irresponsible. Thanks goodness drugs are illegal substances otherwise we would have seen irresponsible adults building factories here and there for the production of cocaine, heroine and the likes. Remember that adults are running the irresponsible Big Tobacco selling, marketing, advertising and promoting cigarettes among teens all over the world. To stop this ugly trend more and more adults must become responsible

I think teens do drugs because they think their cool and so their friends will say that theircool too.DOING DRUGS IS NOT COOL . |

teens some times do durgs to be cool cause they see their friends doing its and sometimes they go under peer pressure their parents dont spend time with them so they do things like drugs.and sometimes family problem to deal with and they dont know how to deal with them. |

Please blame the parents more. The value system has been destroyed. The family care is no longer there. Parents are busy acquiring more wealth to the deteriment of their children's future. Parents, please wake up! |

Us teens do drugs like smoking weed, not because we think its cool its because it chills us out, our lives are so full of stress, relaxation feels amazing! Harder Drugs are done because we want to have some fun! yes some people get way too carried away but i mean for the ones who don't and get harped on for little drugs like weed, its ridiculous! honestly if we didn't know what we were doing then why would we do it? OH GOD and for those of you who think its the parents? get a life they might as well let us do it because no matter what they say we will do it anyway! the longer you try to keep us contained once we break free of you we will probably do worse! so don't blame parents they have nothing to do with it! my moms friend was locked up and not aloud to do anything because her parents were afraid of what she might get into.. once she left the house and was in university she ended up an alcoholic and a drug addict! want to know where she is today? shes a stripper living in a basement apartment with 2 kids that she doesn't know the father to! even worse she is a coke and heroine addict! so really how about that for a wake up call people. chill out and smoke something you will feel better i promise!

Hey I'm a teen and I smoke weed probably every other day. This has seriously got to end, WEED is NOT that bad for you and its a great social activity.

I'm a 48 year old and smoke marijuana. No, its not as bad as everyone says it is. These commercials they show say you will lose everything. That's a lie. It's not the parents, they don't get their kids to do it. Parents that are too babyish to their children only make their children want to do more. Parents who keep their kids inside all the time because they are afraid that they will do drugs actually does the complete opposite. When they actually get out of the house, most of them start to do those hard core drugs that actually ruin there life. In this old neighborhood i use to live in there was a family that kept their kid inside all the time because they found out they were smoking with me. He eventually ran away from home and became a drug addict. Parents need to give their kids freedom. Ask some questions about people your kids hang with but don't think of every single person they hang out with as a bad person. And for those parents who think marijuana is ganna turn your life for the worse, it's not. Think of 1 person you know who the only thing they did was marijuana. Yes, some people are easily influenced into stuff, they shouldnt do it in the first place. But most parents who accept that their kids smoke marijuana usually keeps them along the right track. When i was a kid my parents didnt like me smoking weed, but their wasnt anything stopping me. I would still do it. And look at me today, a successful finacial adviser making around 80,000 a year. Another family i knew as a kid, there whole family smoked and all of them had successful careers, and the kid made average grades. So all those people who think marijuana is ruining kids lives, think for just 1 second, how? |

i noe 4 a fact that kids these days dont rele have a true reason to do drugs. IIn my opion, they r a complete waist of time amd are rele stupid. They r not the answer to God. It wud be sssoooo much better if ppl were actually informed on this topic as well as i am. yo.

True, there are a lot of reasons why people feel the need to do drugs. But the thing is being a teenager myself and having a slight idea of what drugs have an effect on people, it's not great. Not everyne reacts th same way to the drugs. People have been known to things under the influence. Dealing with stress through drugs is NOT a solution for anything. Not that many people do it to be cool anymore. Just because they feel it relieves them. I don't agree but until something is done to completly get illegal, there's nothing anyone can do. All you can do is talk to your parents, community leaders, and your children. |

i think teens do drugs becuase they feel like theres nothing else out there. Stuff don't go right and they want to find a way out. but they are really lead into the wrong path. =[ |
