"The only snoop looking for possible threats to the country." Okay,  thats what they tell you.  In fact,  they government/people who enacted this law may have had the countrys security as a sole motive.  However,  what happens when time passes and a different group of people get voted into power? Could they possibly use this new "snooping" law for other purposes?  I would guess yes.  Eventually someone will start to abuse the law. Information about your life, including your emails, will be stored and readily available for any insurance company, ad agency, government agency, company, etc etc....Its probably going to happen anyway. You wont be able to fart without someone knowing about it.

I have nothing against your view, but those are my own personnal views, I have not been led to believe anything really, I do not follow US politics and stuff closely, being Canadian. Only thing I have ever read that has led me to believe that is the book Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. And it is a fictional book so I would not take the facts about a top secret USA agency from it as true.

America and "The American Way" are LOVED the world over.  Everywhere you go, people want to come to America and live here and become Americans. 

Political leaders spread their own ideas and serve their own agenda.  American political leaders DO THE SAME THING.  The press uses it to further an agenda and to "sell papers".

 If you put any group of people together without political commentary, they will get along with and help each other prosper.   HATE is an emotion easily used and twisted by political leaders to serve themselves.  We are not born with hate; it must be taught. 

Any time anyone speaks or writes AGAINST another person, group, or idea; be suspicious and skeptical.  Believe in love, understanding and helpfulness.  Understand that people believe different ideas and have different morality.  Spend your intelligence, time, and physical resources on things that will make this world a better place.  Don't try to impose your ideas on anyone.  Just offer your help.

For me, I can not start the discussion my addressing "why does the world hate america?".  I must first ask myself "do I accept the premise that the world hates america?"  I must answer "no".

I travel to England, Dubai, India, Singapore, and Australia at least once a year, due to business.  This next year I plan on adding Ireland, due to some new business there.  Last year I went to Malaysia.  As a representative of a large American company, I can tell you America is not hated.  Some people are unhappy with current policies of the US, but people in the world always seem to be unhappy when America is strong.  American companies bring change.  They bring wealth via jobs. They bring higher standards for workers (albeit sometimes slowly).  But they also bring American ideals with them.  And those ideals are infectious.

Does America do everything right? Of course not.  It would be ridiculous to think so.  But America tries.  It is not a mistake that our country is wealthy and powerful.   We innovate, we create.  We value the genius (whatever that genius may be).  We idolize the "rags to riches" stories.  We believe that everyone can do anything.  And we, as a whole, believe that America is just.  What about that description is not commendable?  What about that description makes you ashamed to be an American?

All politics is local.  When a foreign leader rails against America, be leary of saying "that country hates america!"  When a newspaper says "public opinion of America is dropping", be aware of what the headlines in the newspaper were the day before.  When America gives $1 billion in aid to a world area in need, be careful to take the criticism (that will come) in stride, for surely giving the money is better than not.

I love America.  Americans love America.  It is not too much of a stretch us to imagine others feel the same about their homes.  The world hates America about as much as America hates the world.

You all are cazy saying that other countries hate america because we are a super power and a democracy.Thats the biggest bunch of crap I've ever heard. So being free and wealthy makes people want to take their lives trying to stop you. Such nonsense. If you want to know why these people feel this way stoping bying into the media hype and ask some people who  are from thoes countries why some of their people hate americans.
