Immigration is currently regulated. However, the regulations need to be reformed. Too many Mexicans are illegal residents in this country. The effects of illegal residents are detrimental to the economic, social, and political stability of the nation. It breathes intolerance and prejudice. What about all the Jamaicans? They find numerous ways to enter this country illegally and foster a subculture that is contrary to American ideology. How can we as a nation address the current wave of illegal residents???

Why is it such a big deal about Illegal aliens comming here??? Also if americans wanted all these so called jobs that these illegal aliens are suppossibley taking than there would'nt be any jobs for them to take in the first place. I remember when the Bosnians first started comming here it was'nt a big immigration debate but now when the hispanics come over here illegally it is such a big deal!!!! I understand that the bosnians were escaping war. But the hispanics are escaping poverty... I want the United States to go a week with out a hispanic person and see how it affects everything.....
I understand Tony's point but marbe he can agree that this is America and tax payer money should go to American citizens. America was founded by Immigrants and slaves. Both groups came over legally. I don't believe we have a need for anchor babies delivered by illegal immagrants. Our laws reflected our nations needs for population and are laws usually relate to economic growth and availability and sustainability of natural resources. I know that we do not need to grow our illegal immigration from any country not just Mexico where the great majority of illegal immigrants come from. Mexico is a wealthy nation and the US government should be putting pressure to improve income and living standards for the poor in Mexico. Corporate and farm interests in America and Hispanic groups would like to continue the flow of Mexicans to in to the US. Farms, construction and many service industries want to exploit the illegal immigrants and pay them less than they would pay a citizen with legal rights to fair wages. I do believe that Americans would take these jobs but with more fair pay and that in most cases the cost of goods and services may go up some. But look at the cost of illegal immigration on each state affected. My home state of California for instance has a huge Hispanic criminal gang enterprise with a majority of the youth dropping out of school. Schools that tax payers fund not illegal aliens for the most part. Many of these children are anchor children meaning their mothers came across the border and delivered the child for free in most cases in our hospital and the child is automatically a US citizen.Our government is quietly supporting illegal aliens by offering them the anchor child law and Tax Identification Numbers if they choose to pay taxes which gives them a since of legal status and qualifies them to possibly purchase a home even though they are here illegally. I also see a trend of many Hispanic families renting a home and sharing it with many families. This is a overcrowding problem which can lead to problems with parking, fire hazards. I am looking to buy a home in San Juan Capistrano and went in to a house this week that painted the garage floor and put in a bedroom closet to make it a bedroom as well as putting up a wall on one side of the garage to make a tiny bedroom. The house was a two bedroom but it looked like they made it a four bedroom, That means more people than it was created to live in and no place to park the cars for the entire household. My point on this overcrowding is a decrease in quality of life for the occupants and parking become an issue for resale and visitor parking . I also understand they want more rights and are demanding citizenship even though they did break our laws by invading a nation. I also find it strange and politically motivated by the government to print our voting ballots in Spanish and Vietnamese, and maybe Chinese. IF it is a prerequisite to speak English to become an American citizen then why would we need to have all these other languages on our election ballots for state and federal elections? Maybe they are breaking other laws by getting illegal documents to get drivers licenses, registering to vote and social security cards to work under someone Else's number. If they break enough laws do you think then maybe they should be sent back to their country no matter what country they are from. Mexico is the country where the vast majority come illegally and they are invading our nation employers need to check to see if employees have valid documentation to work and stop hiring illegal aliens. Many will go home without work if we don;t let them get on social services. Those mothers with anchor babies are a more difficult problem the children are citizens because our archaic laws say that if they are born in the US they are automatically citizens and have a right to all our benefits such as state services especially since many of the husbands don't live in the home when the mother fills out the forms stating household income even though the father lives at the home and helps pay some of the bills. I know this because my wife and her mother are social workers in LA county.

I have read some of the replies but just to put this out there, I totally agree that as a nation we should be taking care of americans and not illegals that can come here and get benefits just because they were not born in america, its almost -like becuase I am a born citizens i cant get any help and or because I make 42.00 dollars over the limit to get any help for that matter, but some illegal alien can come to america and get just about anything without question, How fair is that? to americans who work and pay taxes and when we need help the most we get turn down, what a shame.
I don't get why Americans dislike Mexicans and why Mexicans cant be legal to this country. I hate people that say that Mexicans are aliens,THEY R NOT.They have nothing different from Americans.They just came here to look for a better future.People shouldn't separate Mexicans families, Its really sad 2 see families apart. I feel really sad and angry that some families cant see each other because they r illegal.I hate whoever thinks that Mexicans don't have the right to be here,I really would wish that Mexicans could come to the US without any problems.people say that Mexicans only come here to do bad things but they don't.Put yourself in their place,How would u feel?Mexicans really suffer in Mexico.And you know what, one day Mexicans are going to take over the US.Don't hate Mexicans because they don't hate you.if u get to know them u would get along with them.They can teach u a different language and cultures.They make really good food.I hope the Mexicans can be treated equal.
We live in California, which is Calimexio. The culture in California is fend for yourself and take whatever you can get for free. You must speak Spanish to get a great job and be important. Spread the word and if you are Mexican we finally have overcome America and will change the American Way! YEs!
